Welcome to the King Eyo Honesty II Royal House

The King Eyo Honesty II Royal House of Efiom Ekpo Dynasty is one of the historic royal houses of Creek Town in Old Calabar, whose legacy is deeply interwoven with the political, cultural, and religious transformation of the Efik people in the nineteenth century.

This Royal House traces its ancestry through the distinguished lineage of Nsa Ekpenyong, whose descendants became some of the most influential rulers in Creek Town and the wider Old Calabar region. From this lineage emerged King Eyo Honesty II, a monarch whose reign marked a turning point in the political independence, commercial influence, and spiritual evolution of Creek Town.

The Royal House stands today as a custodian of the history, traditions, and heritage of the Efiom Ekpo Dynasty. Through generations, it has preserved the values of leadership, diplomacy, commerce, and cultural stewardship that shaped the identity of Creek Town and contributed to the development of Old Calabar.

This website serves as a historical archive, cultural platform, and communication channel for the Royal House, its descendants, and the wider community.
